The Adidas LA Galaxy 2024 Angeleno Authentic Jersey represents a return to one of the most recognizable elements in Galaxy history: the sash. Officially named the Angeleno Kit, the design was created after the club gathered feedback from supporters who wanted the iconic sash brought back. It became the 11th sash kit in LA Galaxy history, but Adidas reimagined it instead of simply recreating an older shirt.

The traditional diagonal sash is formed through negative space, surrounded by thin navy lines that sweep across the white body. According to the club, those moving lines represent speed, forward momentum and evolution, eventually coming together around the Galaxy’s quasar symbol. Gold detailing runs across the shoulders, sides and hem, while a handwritten “Los Angeles” sign-off appears beneath the rear collar as a tribute to the Angelenos involved in creating the jersey.

This particular shirt also became connected to one of the most important seasons in Galaxy history. When the jersey debuted, the five stars above the crest represented LA’s five MLS Cup championships from 2002, 2005, 2011, 2012 and 2014. By the end of the 2024 season, the Galaxy had captured another MLS Cup, defeating the New York Red Bulls 2–1 and becoming six-time MLS Cup champions. That makes the 2024 Angeleno design a jersey directly associated with the club’s return to the top of MLS after a ten-year championship drought.

The front is finished with the LA Galaxy crest, Adidas Performance branding and the long-running Herbalife sponsor. This example is the Authentic version of the Angeleno Kit, featuring Adidas AEROREADY branding, lightweight performance construction, extensive breathable mesh across the back and sides, and a more technical cut than the standard supporter jersey.
