A beautifully minimal piece of vintage Monarcas Morelia training wear from the Atlética era, this white training jersey is almost the complete opposite of the sponsor-heavy match shirts Morelia became known for. The entire front is reduced to two essential elements: the classic Atlética wordmark and an embroidered Monarcas Morelia crest.

The jersey is constructed from a distinctive lightweight white performance fabric with a subtle vertical ribbed/grid texture running throughout the body. A simple white V-neck keeps the front clean, while dark navy panels run across the shoulders and continue partially down the sleeves. The back is completely sponsor-free, emphasizing that this was designed as training apparel rather than a standard match shirt.

That simplicity is what makes this piece interesting. Morelia’s Atlética-era training equipment could vary dramatically from the club’s first-team kits, and surviving examples from the late 1990s through mid-2000s show Atlética producing dedicated training jerseys in different colors, cuts and sponsor configurations.
