The Nike Celtic FC 2006–07 Away Long-Sleeve Jersey is one of the standout Celtic designs of the mid-2000s. Product code F6AOG corresponds to the 2006–07 away design, built around bold alternating green and black vertical stripes, a black fold-over collar and the classic Carling sponsor across the chest. The same design was later carried over as Celtic’s third kit for 2007–08.

The shirt comes from a major season under Gordon Strachan. Celtic successfully defended the Scottish Premier League title and won the Scottish Cup, completing a domestic double. In Europe, the club also advanced to the Champions League Round of 16, where eventual champions AC Milan needed extra time at the San Siro to eliminate Celtic after the first leg finished 0–0.

This example carries a large yellow #9 on the back. The number is particularly relevant to the 2006–07 squad because Kenny Miller was given Celtic’s #9 shirt after joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Miller scored important Champions League goals that season, including the winner against Copenhagen and twice in the 3–0 victory over Benfica. Without provenance, however, I would list this simply as a #9 jersey rather than claiming it was Miller-issued or match-worn.

Details make this version especially strong: the long sleeves, embroidered white Nike Swoosh, Celtic crest topped by the European Cup star, Carling sponsor and the small star-and-1888 detail beneath the rear collar.
